rhoda roberts (@adhorstrebor) reportedThis is torture for old people. It is cruel inhumane and frankly a hate crime upon the elderly. @santanderuk made it impossible for my older cousin to download an app due to his dexterity issues. As for talking to a human instead of AI..he was traumatised. Pure evil

Diane Greger (@DianeGreger) reported@HWarlow @santanderuk Incompetent employees are hired mostly DEI and how no idea about customer service nor how to do the job correctly.

Chris May (@cp_ma24524562) reported@santanderuk @santanderukhelp I keep getting notifications saying I need to confirm my identity, then in my app nowhere to do it HELP

Alison Beswick (@alison_beswick1) reported@MartinKnight_ I was debanked during covid along with 500,000 others, I don’t have id to open another bank account, I can’t pay for a new id because I don’t have a bank account. My life has been turned upside down by some guttersnipe that didn’t even bother to give me a reason @santanderuk

A.G.W. 🇬🇧 (@agw1437) reported@hnjsamuels @santanderuk Or… when they freeze your a/c owing to some’activity’ and force you to go into a branch with ID! Try that when you’re on holiday in Scotland or anywhere really since they have shut so many branches. If you don’t drive, have mobility issues etc you’re stuffed!! Terrible bank.

Chris (@geordiechris48) reported@santanderuk @santanderukhelp Visited your Northumberland St, Newcastle branch today to deposit some cash. Out of 4 machines that had cash deposit facilities, only 1 was working! Took 30 mins to deposit, machines were so slow there was a queue and huge queue for teller #dobetter

subconsciouscyclist (@subconsciouscyc) reported@santanderuk I've had a complaint open with you since March. You have admitted liability but still not resolved the issue. You have taken my money and not reduced the interest on my car finance because your systems are incapable of making this simple calculation.

Chris May (@cp_ma24524562) reported@santanderuk #santander can you image a bank with no customer service support? Send messages in the app, but don’t let you upload information. From a customer who went through advanced security for my last transaction 🤯

Kevin Baker (@KevinBa07776436) reported@gray_schofield @santanderuk This is typical poor service from banks. I used to work in an FCA regulated financial organisation and deal with Executive Complaints. Come on Santander do the right thing. Open the accounts, uphold the complaint and pay compensation

Lee Hayward (@vibedcoder) reported@santanderuk holding my accounts hostage on the mobile banking app. Until I provide them with a bunch of personal information they have no right asking for. It's finally happening. Just as the conspiracy theorists warned. Santander want to know how much money I make, employment status, photo ID, national insurance number etc. Wonder if they'll cut me off from my money if I keep refusing? They already restricted my access to the mobile app. I've been with them for over 20 years, they can see where my money is coming from and going to, they already have my up to date information... So why all of a sudden do they want me to fill out an online form like I'm some kind of suspect? ****.
