(((Fran Lewis))) Lady Lewis of Laffak (@iverlean) reported@annettesjl @santanderuk @santanderuk You are seriously making me consider my options - I have been a customer a long time, but this really makes me want to move my account!
-
Jemma Anderson 💙 (@Jemstar76) reported@MorganBroadcast I hope @santanderuk @santanderukhelp will work with you to investigate exactly what went wrong here to protect all its customers. I’ve been a customer of theirs for 20 years+ but will switch in a heartbeat if their systems mean my money and security is compromised.

Four days until #geekdis ♿ starts! (@JustGeekingBy) reported@helengrantsays @santanderuk They do, but they also have a legitimate argument for negligence because she went in knowing the security was down. It's not right, but we all know that banks don't like paying out money if they can squirm their way out of it.

Harriet - a human. 💚💜🤍 (@BippetyBoop) reported@drclairetaylor @santanderuk @bancosantander Utterly pants and somewhat bizarre. Even with my basic knowledge of IT security, having access to the PIN like that is totally bonkers.

Teddy Leppington (@TeddyLeppington) reported@MorganBroadcast Try you and yours, BBC RADIO 4 consumer programme. I'm a @santanderuk customer seriously thinking if it's wise to remain so.

Four days until #geekdis ♿ starts! (@JustGeekingBy) reported@helengrantsays @santanderuk I know it was her card PIN, and you have to go through a lot of security hoops to change a PIN even if you get into the banking app, which you need the login details for. I'm not defending the bank at all, I agree they've screwed up, but some of this doesn't make sense.

Coco62😷 (@Coco62mw) reported@MorganBroadcast This is terrible, I hope @VirginActiveUK and @santanderuk make sure you get reimbursed
-
Rebecca Roberts (@beckylj_roberts) reported@MorganBroadcast Charlotte, I don’t know you but this is absolutely awful and my heart goes out to you. I will be advising my three kids to look at other banks ASAP. I really hope you manage to get this resolved and @santanderuk and @VirginActiveUK start to take some responsibility. Take care x

Jac (@viewfromhome147) reported@MorganBroadcast How awful for you! And for it to happen to someone who has applied all the rules around pins and passwords is kinda scary. @VirginActiveUK and @santanderuk should be ashamed of themselves. They should be doing everything to help you and prevent this from happening to others

the book ***** (@the_book_bitch) reported@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk Unfortunately with Mastercards, etc. it’s the guides the bank follow and if a pin has been written down or provided to family/friend’s then it’s 2 counts of negligence on your behalf. The bank won’t raise it because they know they won’t win it’s case.
