@MorganBroadcast That's really awful. Shame on @santanderuk. I hope the police carry out a full and thorough investigation.

  • Toby_J_Benjamin Toby Benjamin (@Toby_J_Benjamin) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk Shame on you @santanderuk - it’s time you treated your customer with some care and respect, rather than making her life more difficult when she’s been made a victim from no fault of her own.

  • JohnLatchford John Latchford (@JohnLatchford) reported

@MorganBroadcast Yet again a bank @santanderuk proves itself incapable of the simplest of tasks - like ringing the correct number when you have had your phone stolen. Why do they get away with the pathetic level of service.

  • Epsom_Chinn Cllr Kate Chinn 💙 🇪🇺 🇺🇦 (@Epsom_Chinn) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk I had a card stolen and the PIN number used 2006/7 time. I made a statement saying I had never written it down as I changed it the day I got the card. They accepted this and reimbursed me so that’s 16 yrs ago. I believe banks know it can happen !!!

  • beckylj_roberts Rebecca Roberts (@beckylj_roberts) reported

@MorganBroadcast Charlotte, I don’t know you but this is absolutely awful and my heart goes out to you. I will be advising my three kids to look at other banks ASAP. I really hope you manage to get this resolved and @santanderuk and @VirginActiveUK start to take some responsibility. Take care x

  • BippetyBoop Harriet - a human. 💚💜🤍 (@BippetyBoop) reported

@drclairetaylor @santanderuk @bancosantander Utterly pants and somewhat bizarre. Even with my basic knowledge of IT security, having access to the PIN like that is totally bonkers.

  • viewfromhome147 Jac (@viewfromhome147) reported

@MorganBroadcast How awful for you! And for it to happen to someone who has applied all the rules around pins and passwords is kinda scary. @VirginActiveUK and @santanderuk should be ashamed of themselves. They should be doing everything to help you and prevent this from happening to others

  • maureenmyant Maureen Myant (@maureenmyant) reported

@MorganBroadcast Thank you so much for posting this. I hope you get some justice. This is a horrifying story. I had been considering moving account to @santanderuk but I won't now. Nor will I use a banking app. Terrible lapse by your gym too.

  • MadJeffSlade Jeff Slade (@MadJeffSlade) reported

@MorganBroadcast Oh shot, this is awful. How could you possibly have predicted this? Come on @santanderuk sort it out

  • JustGeekingBy Four days until #geekdis ♿ starts! (@JustGeekingBy) reported

@helengrantsays @santanderuk They do, but they also have a legitimate argument for negligence because she went in knowing the security was down. It's not right, but we all know that banks don't like paying out money if they can squirm their way out of it.
