@santanderuk You have massively complicated my life. Denied me access to my account for no understandable reason. Finally sent me new security details but for business and not personal account. Customer assistant said ‘amateur mistake’ but just use business app. But this does not

@mdudas @santanderuk Almost certainly is in the terms of service when you sign up that they can limit payments to certain entities

@BanklessHQ @santanderuk No They have a massive fraud loss problem. And so do their customers. Banks are rational actors and would allow transactions if it made them money. Crypto has a MASSIVE fraud problem nobody wants to talk about.

Hephaestus Stake Pool (Ticker: HEPHY) (@HephyPool) reported
@conraddit @santanderuk Santander once blocked my access to my own savings “to protect me from scams”, cut me off customer services the minute it turned 9pm mid-resolution, then blocked me again a few months later. Closed the account, no questions asked. Entered crypto, never looked back. That was 2018.

@mdudas @santanderuk The problem is crypto is a massive massive fraud risk and source of losses / chargebacks Banks have no instrument other than blocking transactions to try to limit losses Until exchanges and banks can share data on bad actors Which @sardine is working on

@santanderuk So I can spend all my wage on betting and porn but if I want to invest in the future of money technology (crypto) then you limit me? Shocking! Especially when you are a partner of #Ripple and will use #xrp in the future. Its like you don't want people making money. Awful.
