Garry Peat (@RidgewayRam) reported@santanderuk This continued for a further 24 hrs with over 35 new accts being opened. I, therefore, had to call to explain the situation. The call handler was helpful and said he would close the new accts but I was staggered that as a customer facing employee he was not aware of the situation

Geronimog (@geronimo2497) reported@David90shaw This is already happening if you use mobile banking apps, with the threat of restricted access to said app if you don't comply and upload photo id, thus forcing you into branches that are closing on a daily basis @santanderuk the latest do this.

@Gaylesian (@gaylesian) reported@DrChrisParry @santanderuk What annoys me about banks is they close down branches don’t want to speak to you, However you have money in your account you want to transfer it you have to log onto your account know all your passwords yet they decline and you have to speak to them.

Gray Schofield (@gray_schofield) reported@santanderuk I opened a cash Isa on 29th April with the plan to transfer an Isa into your account. I was told I'd get a two letters for my log in details in 7 days which I still haven't received. I was told I would get a £200 evoucher for doing this. Now you've ended this offer

Kevin Baker (@KevinBa07776436) reported@gray_schofield @santanderuk This is typical poor service from banks. I used to work in an FCA regulated financial organisation and deal with Executive Complaints. Come on Santander do the right thing. Open the accounts, uphold the complaint and pay compensation

Lee Hayward (@vibedcoder) reported@santanderuk holding my accounts hostage on the mobile banking app. Until I provide them with a bunch of personal information they have no right asking for. It's finally happening. Just as the conspiracy theorists warned. Santander want to know how much money I make, employment status, photo ID, national insurance number etc. Wonder if they'll cut me off from my money if I keep refusing? They already restricted my access to the mobile app. I've been with them for over 20 years, they can see where my money is coming from and going to, they already have my up to date information... So why all of a sudden do they want me to fill out an online form like I'm some kind of suspect? ****.
