To be clear a bank like @santanderuk know *exactly* what their call wait times are, when peak times are. They have service desk tooling that monitors all of this. The truth is they don't care. Their customer's time has little worth to them & their financial model to do business.

@santanderuk It's a shame you don't invest more of those profits into more staff. Over an hour waiting on the phone to discuss suspected credit card fraud. Very poor customer service.

@santanderuk Hi, Just ordered a new card for debit acc, will the old card have been automatically blocked, or do I need to specifically block it?

What year is it? An hour on the 📞 to @santanderuk trying to pay off my mortgage to be told I can only do it by cash or cheque in branch 😳 Cheque? In branch? What, the one you’ve just shut down? AND there’s a £250 account closure fee for the privilege! Pants 👎 Anyway, done 🙌

@santanderuk Over an hour on the phone, being passed from department to department for nothing. Not one member of staff could help. So thank you for 10+ years, but I’ll be taking my banking elsewhere now. Today was a joke.

@santanderuk you took my money deposit into your ATM but didn’t process the payment and return my money. Who am I supposed to get a hold of to sort this out as all your contact services seem to be completely unable to help me?
