@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK **** bank. Wouldn't even let them look after my daughter's piggy bank the feckless cretins. Inside job at the gym - 100%.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk As you state you won’t have section 75 protection and I don’t think chargeback will be of any use, but if it was a Visa debit card, then I believe they have a ‘zero liability’ policy which might help. Sorry for your troubles :(

@MorganBroadcast This is awful. We bank with @santanderuk and recently we have had 2 occasions where they have not authorised an online banking transaction and frustratingly locked our accounts, without checks/calls. It sounds very haphazard rather than a systematic approach. 🤞 it gets sorted.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk any comment on this? As a long standing customer I think I’ll move on. Seems far too easy to get through your security & then no support. No thanks…

@MorganBroadcast Not as bad as yours but I had a horrific experience with @santanderuk about 10 years ago. Escalated all the way up to CEO level but their only interest was defending themselves and blaming the customer. Closed every account with them & will never use again.

@MorganBroadcast Jezz @santanderuk looks like you need to sort out your security and customer service. This is appalling Even on a basic level of common sense.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk Gym employee with the right access might be able to see what bank you use from your direct debit. It seems far fetched but absolutely everything points to this being more than a coincidence. I really hope you get ££ back, fair compensation and find a new gym that cares more
