@santanderuk A 59 minute wait on the phone to request a copy of a mortgage statement only to be told there’s a charge of £5 for this. Having been with you for 16 years it’s very disappointing to see the days of customer service are gone, and those of arbitrary charges are here.

@santanderuk Holding on phone forever listening to music. 45 minutes now. Transferred from one person to another. Very simple query to help line. ‘Help line’? Nobody seems able to help without passing on to someone else. This really is the most incompetent organisation!

@santanderuk is it company policy that branch managers and complaints investigation team ignore customers letters? Written twice to the Tonbridge branch manager and no reply and same big standard reply from complaints. Terrible customer service 😡

@hublok @yuanyi_z The effective interest rate is 1.4% tax free although of course not many people win and the buying power of your investment is falling with inflation. Still, better than the 0.1% (before tax) paid by @santanderuk on my instant access account.
