My wife just showed me her phone and she's downloaded @binance but her bank @santanderuk blocked her funds. She is literally the last person I had down as being orange-pilled. Gutted she's been blocked, shows how difficult it can be starting out, now I'm off to explain on-ramps!

@santanderuk literally the most appalling service - on the phone for 1.10 mins, conflicting information and no ownership. Time for a change I think, will be moving my accounts next week

@Foster0515 @santanderuk Workedf for them and was forced to bank with them. They're truly awful mate... 1st thing I did when I left was switch account. I've nothing but good experiences with @AskNationwide since.

@santanderuk The fact that me losing my phone totally blocks me from using my card online is appalling. Your online OTP service did not allow me to change my number. Had I been in danger with a broken phone I would have been stranded. Severely disappointed.

@santanderuk Terrible bank. Stopped me adding funds to my #crypto account and then blocked my account with them even after I confirmed my identity. Will be closing my account and moving to #Barclays
