    @JonBatchelor8 @LizKershawDJ @santanderuk Also most banks allow you to pay a cheque in via the ATM/cash point machine or at home via the app. There is no issue here apart from making a mountain out of a mole hill.

    @LizKershawDJ @santanderuk You can pay cheques in via your banking app now, not quite the same service but at least you can get it paid in

    @JonBatchelor8 @LizKershawDJ @santanderuk I remember cheques. We used to have to use them last century all the time. It was awful.

    @LizKershawDJ @santanderuk Shame they didn't have the service where you scan the cheque in, barclays do, it's so much easier

    @LizKershawDJ @santanderuk I had the same problem. If you have a cheque book, you can use one of the slips at the back to pay in a cheque at a post office. I also now have a 20 mile round trip to access a Barclays. Itโ€™s ridiculous!

    @LizKershawDJ @santanderuk The traditional banks are so far behind with their digital offering. Closing branches left, right and centre but not offering a viable alternative digitally. Switch to @StarlingBank its effortlessly easy. And their customer service is ๐Ÿ’ฏ
