Andrea M 🏳️⚧️🦖🏴🦕🇺🇦 (@1963AndreaM) reported@MorganBroadcast This is just awful and for @VirginActiveUK @santanderuk to be this blase about it is just disgusting. I hope you get it sorted soon. Consider moving to another bank asap. If they can access your account again they will certainly try and Santander dn't seem to care.

Lorna May Wadsworth (@Lorna_May_) reported@MorganBroadcast So sorry to read about your awful experience and praying @santanderuk see sense and refund you. Would never bank with them after reading how they’ve treated you!!! Sending love x
-
Hugh Lightbody (@HughLightbody) reported@NeilMackay78 @MorganBroadcast @santanderuk So sorry to hear of your issues Charlotte. My self same thought Neil. As a Santander customer I will be thinking twice about continuing that relationship. Extremely poor customer service.
-
SR (@shilen_rajani) reported@MorganBroadcast Charlotte I'm so very very sorry to read that you have been an awful lot. No help from either @VirginActiveUK or @santanderuk. Absolutely disgraceful from both to take ZERO responsibility and for their failings
-
Shera78 (@Shera782) reported@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk If they had your phone and managed to access your savings acc to transfer money to the current acc then surely they could use the app to see your cards pin number? Awful that they are blaming you
-
Rebecca Roberts (@beckylj_roberts) reported@MorganBroadcast Charlotte, I don’t know you but this is absolutely awful and my heart goes out to you. I will be advising my three kids to look at other banks ASAP. I really hope you manage to get this resolved and @santanderuk and @VirginActiveUK start to take some responsibility. Take care x

simon koelmeyer (@irishsrilankan) reported@MorganBroadcast This make my sick to my stomach. I’m so sorry, Charlotte. How can this happen? It can happen to ANYONE? Horror story, especially when @santanderuk and @VirginActiveUK are refusing to support you.

Ali (@sarcastic_ali) reported@Sue_Pook @santanderuk If it helps I'm with Nationwide. They are constantly checking I'm me even with the regular monthly stuff. It's usually via the phone app though, so I'm not sure it would have helped here. But app access is locked to fingerprint/PIN that is different to the card PIN?
-
the book ***** (@the_book_bitch) reported@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk Unfortunately with Mastercards, etc. it’s the guides the bank follow and if a pin has been written down or provided to family/friend’s then it’s 2 counts of negligence on your behalf. The bank won’t raise it because they know they won’t win it’s case.

Myz Lilith (@MyzLilith) reported@bethanyrutter @santanderuk You have to be logged in to the banking app to view your pin. So if a criminal can see it, they're also already in a position to transfer your entire balance to another account. But the fact that these people managed to unlock the phone *and* access the banking app is terrifying.
