@MorganBroadcast This is just awful and for @VirginActiveUK @santanderuk to be this blase about it is just disgusting. I hope you get it sorted soon. Consider moving to another bank asap. If they can access your account again they will certainly try and Santander dn't seem to care.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk In every countries in every places People are mistreated by who should help us. Both the bank and the Gym (they have to respond with their insurance). It's an absolute #shame

@annettesjl @santanderuk @santanderuk You are seriously making me consider my options - I have been a customer a long time, but this really makes me want to move my account!

  • travistravis Travis Littlechilds (@travistravis) reported

@MorganBroadcast Locks are easy to pick - can pretty easily get under a minute if I recall right. Barriers is easy, the thieves likely broke them. Others I'm not sure, but the bank details being changed is down to @santanderuk failing at security.

  • HamstersScreen hamsters.screenplay (@HamstersScreen) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk If someone has your phone, they have access to your card PIN via whatever banking apps you have installed. In the Santander app it's Manage Cards > View PIN (I can't attach a screenshot as the app doesn't screenshot for "security" reasons but I could take a photo on a 2nd phone)

  • HamstersScreen hamsters.screenplay (@HamstersScreen) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk PINs are easy. If someone has your phone & can access your bank accounts with it, they can just navigate to "Display Card Details" (different banks may use different terms) and then "Display PIN". If you set up biometric access, your phone will require your fingerprint to unlock.

@MorganBroadcast Try you and yours, BBC RADIO 4 consumer programme. I'm a @santanderuk customer seriously thinking if it's wise to remain so.
