@santanderuk Over an hour on the phone, being passed from department to department for nothing. Not one member of staff could help. So thank you for 10+ years, but I’ll be taking my banking elsewhere now. Today was a joke.

@santanderuk Not overly impressed with your service for a new customer this pm. 18yo applying for an online student account. Has been asked to supply info but your info upload hub won’t work. One phone call later she’s told to present it to a branch. Nearest 15 miles away. Poor.

Thanks @RishiSunak .Myself & husband both SE. #excluded from any seiss/grants,overpaid mortgage throughout Covid,no payment holiday etc but can’t borrow £25k more on mortgage because my earnings are down!Ltv 50%!!But wait…furlough would of been classed as an income @santanderuk

@santanderuk I’ve just been on hold for 2 hours to get my card unblocked, I get put through to fraud team and get left on hold for another 20 ******* minutes just for the call to get ended, this is the second time it’s happened your customer service is a ******* shambles

So @santanderuk close multiple branches, forcing users online then apps lack basic functionality - forcing users to use web access to account which then needs OTP via their phone. Guess I will be one of many customers looking for a functional bank?

To be clear a bank like @santanderuk know *exactly* what their call wait times are, when peak times are. They have service desk tooling that monitors all of this. The truth is they don't care. Their customer's time has little worth to them & their financial model to do business.
