@MorganBroadcast @NeilMackay78 @santanderuk Yes, they do happen too often...Someone broke into my home few years back and stole chequebook, silly I kept in a draw as though they were obsolete. The bank helped this Girl sign in right place then handed her my money. I lost trying to sue bank said my negligence :o

  • keatsie777 keatsie 💚🤍💜 (@keatsie777) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK I’m so sorry you had this happen to you. Shocking that the gym and bank have been so unhelpful. Please do not give up. The kind of service you have experienced needs to be exposed far and wide so others can decide who they want to trust with their business.

@XMeekin @MorganBroadcast @santanderuk Wtf! They are basically inviting criminals

  • PedalPlodder Dawn-Pedalplodder (@PedalPlodder) reported

@PeterDbrash @MorganBroadcast As a long term @santanderuk customer, I'm extremely concerned about this! Especially as simply transferring the stolen phone's SIM card to another phone gets around the phone security.

  • SolwayShiatsu 🐾Nikki💙 (@SolwayShiatsu) reported

@MorganBroadcast This is truly dreadful. thankyou so much for sharing this I've been less than happy with @santanderuk closing all my local branches and leaving me with a 27 mile trip if i need to use the bank, so hearing this awful lapse in security given me that final push to close my account

  • MKMCrofton Malcolm Martin (@MKMCrofton) reported

@MorganBroadcast I'm a @santanderuk customer and this morning received an email suggesting I download their app for my mobile. After reading the replies to this thread - no way.

  • Defencebrief Nicholas Diable (@Defencebrief) reported

@BenRigbyJourno I'm sure she will given the apparent abundance of errors by the bank. I'm not surprised by her account having once been a customer of @santanderuk. Their approach to telephone banking security was always shockingly lax and left customers wide open to fraudsters.

  • daisybruni Daisy Bruni (@daisybruni) reported

@archer_rs @santanderuk The gym @VirginActiveUK seems to have had a security breach, but the bank enabled the fraud by making the PIN available on a stolen phone, calling that phone after they'd been notified and then transferring funds from a savings account and blaming the customer 😱

  • JulieMcCHS Julie McDonald (@JulieMcCHS) reported

@MorganBroadcast OMG this is terrible and @santanderuk have made the situation so much worse by trying to contact you on your stolen phone. Try the ombudsman. Good luck

  • EdwardsWoolie Faye (@EdwardsWoolie) reported

@santanderuk Yeah your great at virtue signalling but not much use when it comes to customer care or fraud issues? #santander
