@MorganBroadcast Wow Charlotte, how horrible. I am so sorry you've been subjected to this crime and the unacceptable response by @santanderuk. I sincerely hope you can get your money back ASAP and with as little further stress as possible. P.S. FWIW, I'm sure your thread will help others.

  • Linzdelene Lindsey Revell (@Linzdelene) reported

@MorganBroadcast That's awful. After reading this I'm going to look into changing bank accounts. Business and personal @santanderuk

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk But you can access your pin through banking app if they've been able to transfer the bank must realise they could have got your pin same way

@MorganBroadcast @CharliePhill22 Charlotte, I’m so sorry to hear this! Shocked by the lack of support @santanderuk have provided so far. Normally alarm bells start ringing with so many big transactions in little time with any bank! I hope the fraud team take action & charge back the funds from the merchants.

  • mohalipatel Mohammed Patel (@mohalipatel) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk You can still do charge back claims on DC purchases for services not rendered or products not received. It's meant to be easier to do on CC but it's not impossible on a DC the process is just meant to take longer...you may need proof i.e. crime ref no etc from police may help

  • ThisisL86 Laura. (@ThisisL86) reported

@MorganBroadcast Genuinely shocking that @santanderuk provide a PIN reminder on the app with no further security. Looks like this security loophole has helped the fraudsters get access.

  • JimmyOKeefe Jimbo🚴👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💡 (@JimmyOKeefe) reported

@JustRowena @santanderuk We're with @santanderuk but we're considering switching. This incident has most likely expedited that decision as we've been victims of this a couple of times and wouldn't like this level of service. Come on, give the last her money back!

  • k_j_hall kate (@k_j_hall) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK Wow this is horrific. In a cost of living crisis I would have thought that companies would do more to help their customers. I do hope that you are OK and you will be able to cope. Shame on them for their refusal to assist.

  • WybraniecJanine Janine wybraniec (@WybraniecJanine) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk you need to help this lady, your security to protect your clients was breeched by very sophisticated con artists this is no her fault , we are living in hard times you need to do the right thing and give her her money back.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK if this happening wasnt bad enough, to not get support from you is disgusting
