@MorganBroadcast This is terrible, I hope @VirginActiveUK and @santanderuk make sure you get reimbursed

  • steffisav Stephanie Savage (@steffisav) reported

@MorganBroadcast Im sorry you’ve had to go though this, if anything this has convinced me to leave @santanderuk I’ve been thinking about it for some time. I had an issue a few weeks back about what I thought was fraud in my account. Passed from pillar to post they didn’t know who should deal with

  • nikkulastables Nikkie (@nikkulastables) reported

@MorganBroadcast Had a look at @santanderuk Twitter comment section, looks like you aren’t alone, many people have problems with them. Would it be an idea to rally everyone together and write to the CEO directly, ofc CCing the ombudsmen detailing everyone’s problem? And then file individually?

  • the_book_bitch the book ***** (@the_book_bitch) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk Unfortunately with Mastercards, etc. it’s the guides the bank follow and if a pin has been written down or provided to family/friend’s then it’s 2 counts of negligence on your behalf. The bank won’t raise it because they know they won’t win it’s case.

  • Jemstar76 Jemma Anderson 💙 (@Jemstar76) reported

@MorganBroadcast I hope @santanderuk @santanderukhelp will work with you to investigate exactly what went wrong here to protect all its customers. I’ve been a customer of theirs for 20 years+ but will switch in a heartbeat if their systems mean my money and security is compromised.

  • Natty_W NattyNat (@Natty_W) reported

@MorganBroadcast This is awful! I’m so sorry this happened! @VirginActiveUK @santanderuk why are you doing sod all about this?!

  • iverlean (((Fran Lewis))) Lady Lewis of Laffak (@iverlean) reported

@annettesjl @santanderuk @santanderuk You are seriously making me consider my options - I have been a customer a long time, but this really makes me want to move my account!

  • Shera782 Shera78 (@Shera782) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk If they had your phone and managed to access your savings acc to transfer money to the current acc then surely they could use the app to see your cards pin number? Awful that they are blaming you

  • DianeHaywood71 DianeH (@DianeHaywood71) reported

@drclairetaylor @santanderuk @bancosantander It's an awful thing - Iiterally just read the thread. Appalling lack of security.

  • JustGeekingBy Four days until #geekdis ♿ starts! (@JustGeekingBy) reported

@helengrantsays @santanderuk I know it was her card PIN, and you have to go through a lot of security hoops to change a PIN even if you get into the banking app, which you need the login details for. I'm not defending the bank at all, I agree they've screwed up, but some of this doesn't make sense.
