@NeilMackay78 @MorganBroadcast @santanderuk I never tried injecting into the lines but there’s no reason it shouldn’t have let me form a packet with any account details I cared to use and make a transfer. Coming from having provided tech support to the NSA I was gobsmacked.

@MorganBroadcast I really hope Santander do the correct thing & reimburse you. Please keep posting updates. Santander you should be ashamed at your shocking lack of support @santanderuk #Santander

@MorganBroadcast @HKesvani Wow. How distressing. If this reaches any @santanderuk customers, they should leave and cite this abysmal customer care as their reasoning. Not half as traumatising an event but last week I had someone go on a spree on my lost Monzo card and Monzo’s fraud team sorted in 24h.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK what a shame... you'd think they'd want to help you, their customer, I hope you get it all sorted out...

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk This and tweet after are infuriating. Hope all gets resolved soon and to your satisfaction. As a @santanderuk Select customer of 15+ yrs I’m keen to see the outcome. If they don’t fix things, I’m changing banks to one that supports rather than blames innocent victims of crime.

@santanderuk sort out @MorganBroadcast issue and your customer service while you're at it. She's lost her savings through no fault of her own. Easier to blame victim than take action. @VirginActiveUK you bear responsibility too

@trishvoice @MorganBroadcast @santanderuk Its farcical that banks let you log in and see your PIN number. But this reinforces once again why I only carry an American Express card on me when I am out.

@MorganBroadcast Sorry to hear it. Especially given that the PIN is easily accessed via the app, I really hope @santanderuk do the right thing here. My dad is a customer of theirs and it’s worrying to know that he wouldn’t be protected in a similar scenario.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk I don't know about the Santander app, but I believe some banking apps let you rest your PIN, and if they got through the facial recognition on your iPhone some banking apps will allow facial recognition for access to the app.

@fascinatorfun @santanderuk I'm amazed, because I find Santander's security quite intrusive. They block so many of my purchases, for much smaller amounts than in Charlotte's thread. You'd think all these purchases and transfers would trigger an alarm.
