    @santanderuk Sent £300 from my @monzo account to Santander this morning (before I knew it was down). Just managed to see my Santander balance and there's only £90 in there despite the £300 coming out of my Monzo this morning. Thought it'd send the £90 to Monzo so I've got some money to hand.

    @santanderuk This is not an update just a repeat of your last tweet an hour ago. Why don't you explain what the issue is and when you intend to have it fixed by instead of just feeding us all rubbish!!

    When @santanderuk is down and your card declines in a shop 🤯 then couldn't pay for some food nor my car parking. Just shows that moving to a cashless society aint necessarily a good thing 😒 #santanderdown

    @santanderukhelp Understand issues happen, for this length of time though is ridiculous however, the fact that you haven’t arranged to contact customers via text or email to inform them & they only find out once cards are declined or via social media isn’t acceptable. @santanderuk

    @santanderuk Not only did you put extra money in my account last week and then took it after 24 hours later, I cannot log into my banking due to this issue - although can confirm that contact payments (Apple Pay) work!

    I know you're aware of the issue @santanderuk ..... but that's not good enough. I've got no access to either of my accounts and can't even withdraw cash from other cash machines as suggested by your employees. It's a joke coming from one of the UK's leading banks. It's a good job

    @santanderuk I transfered a large amount of money into my account this morning without knowing it was down. Signed into the mobile app just now and its not there??? I seriously seriously hope it hasn't been lost.

    @lisabrackers @santanderuk Totally agree but today’s events show the need to spread your banking love around! I don’t advocate using credit cards but today they would be helpful. Also if you upload your card in Apple Pay would still work even if the bank is down.

    @studant47 @santanderuk @santanderukhelp It isn’t routine maintenance - that was last night and they don’t do it all day on a Saturday shutting their entire system. I’m not sure why they added that message. I can access the app and my balance is there thankfully. But the money I’ve transferred today is missing.
