    @suetthemam @MorganBroadcast My bank queries everything out of the ordinary. This sounds like a #Santander issue, not a sign that times have changed. I for one appreciate the warning. @santanderuk had best take note that a lot of people are following this thread.

    @whyteuk @VirginActiveUK @santanderuk Just been reading the thread. Shocking read and customer neglect on every level. Virgin security has let her down and then Santanderuk has been irresponsible, negligent and totally disinterested to help this lady. Her life is now just about recovering her lost money! Appalling

    @ians_robots @MorganBroadcast @santanderuk When it happened to me the bank decided my pin had been harvested from a cashpoint or till, by" over shouldering" /electronically. A gang was working in the area, one sleuthing pins, one, stealing bags, one cloning cards and a team spending.£5k in 10 minutes, bank refunded me.

    @MorganBroadcast @NeilMackay78 @santanderuk I’d be interested to know what banks the others use and how far their support and claims has got? I paid £100 into external cashpoint Santander years ago-money vanished (presume an inside pocket job).Eventually got £ refunded due to having kept the receipt!!! That is no evidence

    @ScienceNelson Absolutely awful this has happened and @santanderuk needs to do more! As for @VirginActiveUK it wouldn’t surprise me that police will investigate why security wasn’t working that day. I’ll make sure to never be involved with both these companies. Bad service.

    @MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @santanderukhelp I am a Santander customer and your awful experience has really shaken me. I didn’t know debit cards are not covered for fraud and am shocked to hear that the thieves were also able to transfer money from your savings accounts into your current.

    @MorganBroadcast @NeilMackay78 @santanderuk I’m so sorry to read this. Santander have been horrific dealing with my mum after she was scammed out of £15,000. Long story but she is now going through citizens advice bureau-if you have no luck, it might be worth talking to them-super helpful, free service. Good luck 🤞🏼
