@santanderuk just thought I would feedback that having your mortgage retention open only on week days from 9 till 6 means those of us who work those hours can’t call you to be retained. So I will be off to another mortgage provider who can talk to me when I am not working.

@santanderuk how long does it take for you to send a retraction to another bank after receiving all the information you need to do so because of this you have left me with no food no access to money I HAVE NOTHING because of this!

Today I’m closing my current, savings, credit, and mortgage accounts with @santanderuk. This follows atrocious customer support earlier in the year, despite over a decade with them. Would imagine others are voting with their switches too.

After a long wait on hold to @santanderuk, a lad (chewing) answers. Me: "I'm told there's an update on my case?" Him: "Oh yeah, you ain't gettin' your money back" Me: *broken* "But...why?" Him: "Because they used your pin number." This is where it gets interesting (sort of)

@santanderuk we have been very let done by Santander while on holiday in Italy. Blocked the wrong credit card on our account- now we need to continue our holiday without use of our card facility. Support team unable to rectify their error. Totally unacceptable service.
