  • MrTattieLover Mr Potato Lover (@MrTattieLover) reported

@StarlingBank any plans to block/limit crypto exchanges? @santanderuk have and I’m looking to move to a more forward thinking bank

  • Scottymillar Scott Millar (@Scottymillar) reported

@DeanRobinson4 @santanderuk I think there just might be bigger issues in the world right now than, whether you can access your bank card

  • RevJohnBav John Bavington (@RevJohnBav) reported

I am not very happy that my card was declined today. There was a security issue this morning and @santanderuk rang me to check, but then kept me hanging on the line for ages so I hung up. Now my card won't work. Very frustrating.

  • sytaylor Simon Taylor (@sytaylor) reported

@BanklessHQ @santanderuk But until fraud rates come down, Banks will use the only tools they have like limits. Think of it like the Fed and interest rates. It's a blunt instrument but it's the only one they have

  • HephyPool Hephaestus Stake Pool (Ticker: HEPHY) (@HephyPool) reported

@conraddit @santanderuk Santander once blocked my access to my own savings “to protect me from scams”, cut me off customer services the minute it turned 9pm mid-resolution, then blocked me again a few months later. Closed the account, no questions asked. Entered crypto, never looked back. That was 2018.

  • 20wattbulb 20wattbulb (@20wattbulb) reported

@petadactyl @santanderuk Limiting customer exit points from the fiat debt-based system to hard money is a stable door already opened. It can never be closed.

  • sytaylor Simon Taylor (@sytaylor) reported

@BanklessHQ @santanderuk No They have a massive fraud loss problem. And so do their customers. Banks are rational actors and would allow transactions if it made them money. Crypto has a MASSIVE fraud problem nobody wants to talk about.

@mdudas @santanderuk As much as Crypto is just you handing over value to predatory centralized entities. I still support your right to waste you own value being a fiat chasing ******.

@scottmelker Terrible mistake @santanderuk. You don’t realise what a bad mistake this is.

  • mcquat Tony McQuaid (@mcquat) reported

@juliemac1000 @santanderuk That’s outrageous. I’m a Santander customer & have not heard about this new security update. I very seldom carry cash & nearest “free” cash point is c5 miles away. If my card is declined I’ll switch to one that is accepted. Not very customer centric @santanderuk
