Well, that was embarrassing. Both my phone contactless and my bank card declined when I tried to buy my bus ticket. It's not like I don't have the funds either. What gives @santanderuk? I am having so many issues with my debit card.

@santanderuk are built on a load of lies - lie to the customer, lie to save face, gaslight the customer and tell them it is the customers fault, or Royal Mail's fault, or the strikers fault. 25 years i have been with you - i advise people to leave this bank

@MikeSassi @GeorgeTSOliver @santanderuk Just switched back to Lloyds, having become Santander customer when the crash forced A&L sale. My obscure problem was having to use same ref to individual payees no matter what it was for.

If @santanderuk say they are helping in a cost of living crisis - they are lying. All they do is remove overdrafts with no notice (they will lie and say they have sent it) then condascend to you- go to a better bank, because these charlatans are terrible

Tell you what, @santanderuk - why not make it an option on your site to make appointments to set up child accounts in branch? Rather than funnelling people in to branch, only to be told (inevitably) that there’s nobody available to do it and to book an appointment to come back.
