@MorganBroadcast I’m a @santanderuk @bancosantander customer. Concerned at this story in terms of the treatment of a customer and the underlying security failings…

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK You poor lady, I desperately feel for you. How awful. I can’t imagine how sick you must feel. Then how frustrating to not have any back up from Santander on top, I don’t understand that, I hope they are caught and brought to justice. Best of luck with it. 🙏

@Niki44 @VirginActiveUK @santanderuk Makes you realise phone banking should be avoided, better to just login to your account via the browser

@MorganBroadcast I’m so sorry what a terrible thing to happen to you. don’t give up try every avenue. Have you thought about your local paper or even the bigger newspapers. This is absolutely disgusting of @santanderuk I wish you all the luck in the world in getting your money back

  • FromAiden Aiden (@FromAiden) reported

@bethanyrutter @santanderuk You have to log in. The crims could very easily have transferred her entire account balance into bitcoin, surprised they didn't, as no merchant can claw that back if fraudulent. Very odd that they went for physical goods leaving a trail.

@Bearlykat @Santander @santanderuk This is not a lone instance - my friend had a similar experience. There must be a workaround in cases where the victim cannot access phone or email.

  • zhanpenghng On your left (@zhanpenghng) reported

@MorganBroadcast Charlotte, I suggest you seek the help of @financialombuds to advise you on @santanderuk's decision not to refund.

  • adamhall1989 Adam Hall (@adamhall1989) reported

@santanderuk Morning, I've been having issues going through the Loan forms. Once I get to the OTP part I input what gets sent to me and then the page just stops and has some sort of error, I then go back and enter the code again and it says it's wrong.
