    Under FCA’s Consumer Duty @santanderuk UK has a duty to avoid causing foreseeable harm and provide timely support. +4 hours locked out of a fee-paying account over a small euro payment, with zero communication, fails both tests. Formal complaint logged. @financialombuds @WhichUK

    @santanderuk dreadful service, international payment = a 25 mins phone call, 31 questions, endless ‘let me check’ and now my account is blocked whilst I wait for your ‘back office’ to do some more checks, I’ll just wait for you shall I? Or use another provider………

    @santanderukhelp @santanderuk I went to Santander high street branch and the customer service person said the only proof of ID accepted is passport or driving licence. Santander is excluding a section of community who do not fly and do not drive. Many pensioners & neurodiversed!

    @santanderuk Well, after authorising an unsanctioned withdrawal, they now cant give me access to my mobile or online banking! Cowboy banking basically. Customer service or security cant do a thing either!!

    @santanderuk Then after updating my details I go on the app & you’ve cut off my mobile banking access so I have to do it all again 😡

    @santanderuk hi, Inhave been on the phone for 29 minutes listening to music and you have just cut me off. I am trying to sort out an account for a 95 year old man. Are you being deliberately unhelpful or is this your normal customer service?
