  @santanderuk Also told I can’t do what I need to do over the phone has to be in the bank unable even to talk to someone in the branch My other post on media wow thousands of people got the same problem with that particular branch no one contacts us by end of day we are closing all accounts

  @HWarlow @santanderuk I`ve heard in the past that Santander is totally RUBBISH (And that`s the polite version) when it comes to dealing with the estates of the dead which really doesn`t help the bereaved

  Terrible terrible service again today @santanderuk @santanderukhelp , lots of ‘I dont’ know, I can’t help you, its in a queue, blah blah blah, the worst service I’ve ever had from a bank in all my life. Consumer Duty clearly of no interest to you. Time to escalate now

  @santanderuk I am so disappointed with your service at Ilford branch. No one was available to help despite waiting 2 hours. The phone service is a joke, been waiting half an hour and have now given up. Hopefully you see this and respond. I'll look to take mine elsewhere.

  @mturner1961 @santanderuk My 94 year old grandmother got the exact same thing. She no longer had a driving licence or passport so ultimately had to switch because Santander had restricted access. And she had the account for years and never had she been asked for this.
