@kevinsamuel Thanks Kevin. It’s not so much financial problems as service problems. I have never had such bad customer service as @santanderuk over last two weeks. And I’ve dealt dozens of banks.

@santanderuk Applied for a mortgage in principle online, approved with no issues, but no proof provided of this other than a confirmation number. Vendor quite rightfully unwilling to accept offer without confirmation of mortgage in principle. Now what?

I have just been advised by @santanderuk support that I can't use my Santander credit card for my weekly online Asda grocery shop, because I don't have the Santander app on my phone. I'm not sure that's correct.

@Emilia__writes @DefiantLs You don't need to give any explanation for withdrawing £2.500: it's actually the maximum before anti-money laundering checks have to be made.
