I had my purse stolen in London and within 20 minutes they had spent my bank balances on each card- I was with @LloydsBank @santanderuk neither thought to question this, and neither would help to freeze my card. I was trapped in London 1/2

TFitz (@resjudicata86) reported@MorganBroadcast Sadly all too common with @santanderuk - lost a wallet a couple of years back on a night out. Immediately called them to cancel. Got wallet back a week later but found the card was still working. Santander had never cancelled and paid Β£300 by way of apology.

Itβs such an awful feeling and I am sending hugs. Also a co-op bank customer, who have been brilliant with fraud and support.

This incident has most likely expedited that decision as we've been victims of this a couple of times and wouldn't like this level of service. Come on, give the last her money back!
