Just had to use the @santanderuk online banking website to help a friend sort out some mistakes. Wow that is truly awful. I would close the account if it were mine, the UX is that bad.

@santanderuk trying to make a chargeback claim via online banking but it tells me to make sure my details are up to date. I have confirmed this but still having issues (note that the mobile number is showing as "-" on the dispute page). What can I do?

The particular problem my friend has is that they've paid the wrong account — an existing payee. Because… @santanderuk truncate payee account names so they now have three identical names, with different accounts, in their payees.

@santanderuk Credit card section get you fingers out your arses and answer the ****ing phones. You as useless as a fart in a space suit, if not work. Mike Regnier get off your arse and sort you customer service out... its **** to say the least.

@santanderuk I’ve tried 4 different branches to get an appointment for my daughter to switch her current account to a student account and there’s nothing available for months. Really disappointed with this poor customer service. If she was a new customer there’d be no issue 😡
