@GreenwichOMRLP @santanderuk If it’s that easy then the banks should issue a warning.. they are accountable, it’s disgusting really is!

  • PedalPlodder Dawn-Pedalplodder (@PedalPlodder) reported

@PeterDbrash @MorganBroadcast As a long term @santanderuk customer, I'm extremely concerned about this! Especially as simply transferring the stolen phone's SIM card to another phone gets around the phone security.

@krissysbooked @santanderuk It's not just Santander after reading Charlotte's thread I checked my Barclays app & I can get access to my pin if I fill in the correct details, which is very worrying if my card & phone are ever stolen together. Esp considering how easy it was for the thief in Charlotte's case

  • Arad1el Joseph Dowland (@Arad1el) reported

@MorganBroadcast I'm a mobile banking customer of @santanderuk , and the view pin "feature" seems to be a terrible idea

  • absinthm1nded Justin Case (@absinthm1nded) reported

@MorganBroadcast Holy ****. @santanderuk and @VirginActiveUK have lots to answer for. Disgraceful. A reminder how vulnerable we all are. Always spread your money over several accounts. The more the better. Have a stand alone bank account for daily spending, that you can top up.

  • Anarchosurfer David Cameron (@Anarchosurfer) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK I read the tweet about Santander not having a double log in yet they have phone apps. That makes it very unsecure if a phone is hacked, which they know. Yes defo get legal advice. They are blaming you because there systems are not up to standard from the look of it.

  • mi5uk Mi5 Trumpton (@mi5uk) reported

@DrMahim @MorganBroadcast @santanderuk Don't leave a phone or bank cards in a locker. Credit cards are better. Shut phone down if you have to leave it, harder to log in? Take pictures of your cards and passport, email to self. You can prove your I.D. Even if you've lost everything. ( happened to me in Spain).

@MoorgateMermaid @santanderuk And one of these numbers only I know. Not even my bank knows. A person trying to get my bank information will get my bank account number eventually. But even with knowing my banking login password, they still need my card.

  • FlowerySarah FlowerySarah (@FlowerySarah) reported

@MorganBroadcast I'm shocked that no-one from @santanderuk or @VirginActiveUK has contacted you to try and help resolve this.
