@santanderuk do the right thing by @MorganBroadcast I’m a customer & ur treatment of her is deeply concerning. Your app is insecure if a thief can bypass the security. Needs fixing ASAP & she needs reimbursing.

  • clairecalman Claire Calman (@clairecalman) reported

@MorganBroadcast How awful. I really feel for you. A horrible experience made so much worse by your bank and your gym. Years ago, we tried to open a saving account @santanderuk but gave up because they were so hopeless. There’s no way my bank would have authorised a string of atypical purchases.

  • Bretheren Steve Smith (@Bretheren) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK Sorry to hear about your terrible experience I hope you eventually have some success in finding a satisfactory conclusion with both organisations concerned. Can’t help feeling this has the characteristics of some inside collusion at the gym

  • yorkie_pudding T!m (@yorkie_pudding) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk How can someone get into your Apple Pay? Genuine question as the way I know it it’s impossible without faceID or your phone password.

  • sjheditor Sam Humphreys (@sjheditor) reported

@MorganBroadcast God, I’m so sorry. I have debit and credit cards with @santanderuk and this is horrific. Is there anything I or anyone else can do to help?

  • SpinningHugo SpinningHugo (@SpinningHugo) reported

@dlknowles @santanderuk @MorganBroadcast If they want to bring a speculative negligence action against their customer that is up to them, but the first step should be to inform them that none of these transactions were authorised, and to require them to be reveresed. /2

@helengrantsays @santanderuk Bloody hell!! Someone tried to do this to D after his details were stolen online – they attempted to buy 2 Mercedes! – and his bank (@AskNationwide) shut everything down immediately. It was a pain to sort out but we're very grateful they were on the ball!

@MorganBroadcast Am so sorry you're going through this nightmare. Definitely an inside job. I was thinking of rejoining @VirginActiveUK , absolutely zero chance I'll ever set foot in one again now. I'll stick to my local gym. Also, **** @santanderuk truly astonishing behaviour

  • vicgilmore ViC Gilmore (@vicgilmore) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK Charlotte DO NOT GIVE UP. This shenanigans from the thief/thieves is exacerbated by the Banks lack of care to You the customer/victim. Check, check & double check. If asked to go to a branch to show I.D take more than you need. Good Luck.

  • malcolm8 Malcolm van Delst (@malcolm8) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk can you clarify for us if any of this was true? You didn't do any of these things, did you? Thanks. And it is appalling and awful what you went through, even if you did! Your bank--omg.
