@santanderuk your help desk is very unhelpful and can’t think of the other word to use. I understand you a trying to tackle fraud, but I think common sense is lacked here.

  • mojomatt_ 🔞 Matthew! (@mojomatt_) reported

You also have IT issues not letting customers pay money in online today @santanderuk

@santanderuk @santanderukhelp can you help? (See thread)

  • veroferrex10 Tracey McTurtleface (@veroferrex10) reported

@santanderuk I'm a Santander 123 customer – what's happening? The rate on the 123 current account dropped from 0.6% to 0.3% for new and existing customers from 12 April. Time to change banks me thinks.

  • paul_law24 Paul (@paul_law24) reported

@santanderukhelp No I haven’t. @santanderuk clearly use automated systems to evaluate & review mortgage offers. I could have understood it if the problem was real and/or not corrected within days - all for £6. The LTV was also low so your mechanism to evaluation of risk comical.

  • paul_law24 Paul (@paul_law24) reported

@santanderuk gave Pre-authorisation to a mortgage then found an outstanding bill for £6.20 (since cancelled as it was an error) and cancelled mortgage offer. Avoid them like the plague @bancosantander if trying to buy a house

  • CrapAstronaut CrapAstronaut (@CrapAstronaut) reported

@santanderuk you know how unlikely it is that I'm going to call a phone number left by your messaging service in this day and age? Probably need to rethink your strategy.

  • DontSignUp5 Ratiohead (@DontSignUp5) reported

@LozzaFox @santanderuk @santanderukhelp Their current policy is to turn down mortgage applications from people who have received government support in the last 3 months. Even people that bank with them – as I found out.

  • krissygeo1 Krissy Georgiou (@krissygeo1) reported

Trying to complete on a house before the end of June is pure stress. Made even more stressful when dealing with a lender as slow as @santanderuk #stampdutyholiday

  • VictoriaBnard Victoria Barnard (@VictoriaBnard) reported

@santanderuk you are going to cost me 12k in stamp because you can’t process a mortgage application in 10 weeks! The SLAs on the website must be absolute bullshit because my buyer has been awaiting an offer for at least 3 weeks. Absolutely disgusted with the service.
