@LizKershawDJ @santanderuk Google Opening times (most banks nowadays are closed early on Saturdays; also, does the ATm allow cheques to be deposited...? Some banking apps also allow scanning of cheques... unfortunately physcial banking for good or bad are shutting down due to digitisation.

@LizKershawDJ @santanderuk Not everybody wants to/is able to bank online nor have access to IT. I have switched my custom to the bank which has retained an open branch in my area.

@santanderuk Hi I am trying to upload documents to the Santander site to open an account but getting an upload failed message . I have tried from two different devices. Can I send via email if give the reference number etc Regards Tony

@JonBatchelor8 @LizKershawDJ @santanderuk Also most banks allow you to pay a cheque in via the ATM/cash point machine or at home via the app. There is no issue here apart from making a mountain out of a mole hill.

@LizKershawDJ @santanderuk Tried to lodge a cheque in Belfast twice last week. 1 branch only in a major UK city only open to 3pm daily and the only external cash machine they had was broken both times. Bye bye Santander
