John Kirby (@csljohnkirby) reportedI have written "GBP Sterling Only" after the amount on every cheque I have ever written in the UK, and for the first time today, since first having a current account (Chequebook) aged 16 to now, I am 60, the @DVLAgovuk has rejected a cheque saying I have "it is competed incorrectly" stating that wording is not permitted and prevents them from accepting it as a valid form of payment. I have checked with @santanderuk and they said it is completely fine. In 44 years, it has not been an issue, and I think rather than the DVLA being so judgmental and making accusations that are false, they should be honest and say our preference is....

Precyshun (@precyshun) reported@santanderuk Yes and the financial ombudsman sent his final decision in November. Santander have been non compliant for over 6 months and have now been reported to the FCA by the financial ombudsman service. Finally began actioning the rejection of the vehicle and have not done it properly

Precyshun (@precyshun) reported@santanderuk I’ve been emailing customer relations and the ombudsman has been emailing the FOS inbox for the last 6 months for us both to be ignored! I would suggest somebody calls my wife tomorrow before she takes legal advice to go to small claims court

Why have you frozen business accounts with ZERO warning? You have already admitted you have made 3 mistakes and yet STILL refuse to release th funds and open the accounts. I am trying to close the accounts and cannot as you will not allow it. Meanwhile I cannot access a penny. Disgrace.
