It was (1), I had to hang up on you @santanderuk after a multi-hour marathon of being utterly and completely let down in my desire to use your bank to make an important payment. I am beyond furious.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk Nevermind, I have just read through the thread and noticed many @Barclays shout outs all over the thread with responses from them. I will be going there. 👍 Hope this issue gets sorted for you.

Blimey @santanderuk @santanderukhelp why when it takes 3 hours + to eventually manage to report clear fraudulent account activity do you make the customer feel it’s they who are at fault ? Then to make matters worse we have to feel pleased it’s being investigated refund ? Maybe.

@pllowry @santanderuk I've been in the queue for 1 hour and 15 minutes now. I just want to pay my mortgage...at first I got the annoying automated service with robowoman and the abysmal music. Now I just have ringing - I'm beginning to wonder if it's just been redirected to an empty room with a line

You are losing a customer in real time here @santanderuk—in a phone queue for 45 mins waiting for the CHAPS team only to end up talking to Vodafone voicemail. There are no words to describe this level of lack of service for something this important.

@santanderuk I've had an ongoing issue with credit card payments being refused for over 3 weeks now. I've made 3 phone calls to you in that time and had 3 promises of callback. Not happened. Now been on hold for 40 minutes to try to get through AGAIN. Not impressed

@MorganBroadcast Jezz @santanderuk looks like you need to sort out your security and customer service. This is appalling Even on a basic level of common sense.

@MorganBroadcast @rawlimark I can’t possibly imagine why anyone banks with Santander. They’re ****. I cannot recommend First Direct highly enough, or Nationwide as they, too, get excellent ratings Sorry you’ve been dished such a ****** time by @santanderuk They don’t deserve anyone’s custom

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk Gym employee with the right access might be able to see what bank you use from your direct debit. It seems far fetched but absolutely everything points to this being more than a coincidence. I really hope you get ££ back, fair compensation and find a new gym that cares more
