Santander is frequently in abysmal service stories. But they don't care, because they are making £$€bundles. Once I have my £1m to start my bank this kind of toss will end.

Trudie (@TroodlesM) reported@santanderuk I echo the call for more customer service staff. 40 minutes, then the staff member put us in the queue again and still holding after another 15 minutes. Not sure we'll get dinner cooked tonight. Not sure how you can state you are continuing to support your customers.

My poor vulnerable dad (with bad eye and memory issues) didn’t know that he was paying for a service he didn’t need nor want… even @santanderuk staff were stunned.
