@santanderuk 40 mins on hold and still on hold actually sat in one of your branches who can’t help me after a call this morning to you advised me to go to a branch . Is this acceptable on any level . Anyone suggest a better more modern business bank I should be switching to ?

@MartinSLewis @MoneySavingExp please when you recommend the new Santander Esaver Easy Access savings account also report the appalling customer service. I was on hold for 2.5 hours this evening to try and speak to someone about my application.@santanderuk

@santanderuk So seriously they won't let me transfer my own money out of my account. 4 hours of calls and still not sorted. It seems to me that the processes are out of control and no single point of accountability exists to rectify the issue and allow legitimate transactions to take place.

@santanderuk Can you explain how you can justify a 24 hr block on moving money out of a newly opened ESAVER LIMITED EDITION account, when it's not notified in the T's & C's. No justification whatsoever. It's MY money!!

Just drove a 20 mile round trip with a cheque sent to me to the only remaining branch of my bank near me since 3 have closed down. It was shut. Thanks @santanderuk

@LizKershawDJ @santanderuk I had the same problem. If you have a cheque book, you can use one of the slips at the back to pay in a cheque at a post office. I also now have a 20 mile round trip to access a Barclays. It’s ridiculous!

@santanderuk My husband,who doesn't use the Internet has been over an hour trying to report to Santander , because he's lost his wallet with all his bank cards! It's bad that he's having this much trouble trying to block cards!
