You have taken something that was world class and replaced it with something terrible whilst attempting to tell your customers that this is an improvement.

When I give my bank details to a client, they get the ‘we don’t recognise this account’. Even when it’s a Santander to Santander transfer! This issue has been going on for at least 1 year 👎

Yet you still give alerts for entering an overdraft or debit balance amount ? This was a VERY good service Satander did . And a VERY ANNOYING decision to stop it!

Andy Travis (@AdvanceBjj) reported@santanderuk I need some help on an issue…I closed my account with you in June 2025 which was all finished as I live in Indonesia. However I have just had a refund for a UK purchase actioned and they have refunded to the original card…now closed? What now?
