@chalkey1973 @santanderuk are really bad for stopping transfers. If you try to buy something online, send money from savings to current account, answer questions and say you have not seen the item in person, they lock the account. Absolute pain trying to help relatives with this. It took ages

@santanderuk clearly in either a cyber attack or major infrastructure issues! What is it? Your customers NEED to know - especially when one of your junior fraud callers said YES you are undergoing a cyber incident! Want me to post more of the call?

@claudelittner @santanderuk @cahoot Claude: I just got told in an email from Cahoot "Important Information - 25/05/2026 Dear MR ......... You may need to take action Please log on to your Online Banking as soon as possible. You have an important new document to read....." I haven't had contact with Cahoot for ~20 years and the task of exhuming old contact info (or anything else) is going to be vast. And if I do, 99% it will be spam or an offer to sell me something - not news of an error in my favour for Β£50k. Banks sending out these types of messages create a lot of hassle - and there needs to be a way of getting a fast track summary to determine if it is worth the effort.
