Hey everyone - if you bank with @santanderuk they take your money and then when you try and spend it - they block your account. You can then spend the rest of the day on hold. #Santander

@santanderuk Terrible customer service. Legalised crooks. Time to leave this sh*tshow

  • theturkishdeli The Turkish Deli (@theturkishdeli) reported

@santanderuk Very unprofessional outfit. Block online access to account overnight because of one transaction, for security reasons. Wait 30 minutes in the morning for them to answer. Still have waiting to see if cleared. No alert from them, just shut down account. Totally wrong.

@santanderuk @rideonleicester Yes… but clearly not working. Not on the app, nor on the terminal… a disaster again

Trying to get through to speak to someone @santanderuk to do one simple thing is impossible right now!! You can do most things online except changing a payment date…. Was on hold for nearly an hour then it cut off 😩 @santanderukhelp

  • Greggella Gregg (@Greggella) reported

@santanderuk tried twice to apply for your new savings account, once on phone, once on laptop. Kicks you out at the last pages. Must be system issue or they’ve had too much demand? Maybe best to inform customers before filling all those forms in

  • el3ctroma Kai (@el3ctroma) reported

@santanderuk Hi, I tried to open an account with you and was asked to snail mail in physical photocopies of my identity documents. I may yet become a customer if you at some point decide to enter the 21st century, but bye for now.

@santanderukhelp On hold for 30 mins. Then get transferred to the switch dept. After a 5 minute apology as your company failed to contact me to sort a technical problem at your end, a guy says he’ll call me back at 7:30pm. Has he called? NO!! Is this level of incompetence common at @santanderuk ?

  • WhiteIain Iain White (@WhiteIain) reported from Bracknell, England

@santanderuk 40 mins on hold and still on hold actually sat in one of your branches who can’t help me after a call this morning to you advised me to go to a branch . Is this acceptable on any level . Anyone suggest a better more modern business bank I should be switching to ?

@santanderuk absolute joke. You are taking more than the mortgage amount per month (since July). Have phoned 4 times - each time I have been told its an error on your part, yet I haven't been refunded the £900+ overpayment. Do I have to go to the Financial Ombudsman?
