@NeilMackay78 @MorganBroadcast @santanderuk As a Santander customer I'm following this closely too! Absolutely horrific experience for the poor girl.

  • sarahjebner Sarah Ebner (@sarahjebner) reported

@MorganBroadcast So sorry to hear about this - terrible for it to happen, but the reactions of @santanderuk & @VirginActiveUK must have made a difficult situation so much worse.

  • JohnLatchford John Latchford (@JohnLatchford) reported

@MorganBroadcast Yet again a bank @santanderuk proves itself incapable of the simplest of tasks - like ringing the correct number when you have had your phone stolen. Why do they get away with the pathetic level of service.

  • thistle5460 Billy Martin (@thistle5460) reported

@MorganBroadcast Had similar awful experience with @santanderuk Crooks booked flights out the country. Surely easy to catch culprits - passports, airport CCTV? Cheaper just to let banks pay out was response… Months later, closed account and moved to @firstdirect

  • ooohalolipop Ooohalolipop (@ooohalolipop) reported

@MorganBroadcast Charlotte this is truly awful, as you say a bomb exploding at every turn! @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK you should be ashamed & this would stop me using your services! Protect your clients & have support services for victims not some clippy gatekeeper who obviously doesn’t care!

  • e_acheson Elizabeth Acheson (@e_acheson) reported

@MorganBroadcast What an awful set of events, so sorry you’ve had all this to deal with, without your phone, immediate access to home (w/o keys) and all your personal stuff. Absolute nightmare not helped by the cavalier attitude of @VirginActiveUK and @santanderuk #rubishcustomerjourney

  • OstrichWars CA Purkis (@OstrichWars) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk The request usually shows them how serious you are about getting the information. You would be able to see how they came to their conclusions!? If you need any help with the GDPR request - DM me.

  • JustGeekingBy Four days until #geekdis ♿ starts! (@JustGeekingBy) reported

@helengrantsays @santanderuk I feel sorry for her, but there's a major hole in this story. How did they get her pin code? It had to have been somewhere in her bag or on her phone. She claims it wasn't written down, but if it was in her phone somewhere that's the same thing. Many people put it in there.

  • Toby_J_Benjamin Toby Benjamin (@Toby_J_Benjamin) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk Shame on you @santanderuk - it’s time you treated your customer with some care and respect, rather than making her life more difficult when she’s been made a victim from no fault of her own.

  • AyresElizabeth Elizabeth Ayres (@AyresElizabeth) reported

@MorganBroadcast Horrendous, I sincerely hope @Santanderuk support you and fast! I have online banking with them too, and will be watching your story closely as I'm appalled at their response so far.
