@TalkTalk Service update says New Cross issues. I'm near Woodford (12+ miles away) and have had intermittent disruption all day. Are they related? Or do you think I have a separate issue?

I’ve been a TalkTalk customer for many years and evidently the only way to resolve is start a new account! 5 operatives + 3.25 hours of calls later, several times ‘being on hold’ with the same mind numbing music and all managers in meetings or on calls I’m still disconnected!

@TalkTalk Given that we live in a very ordinary mid terrace house on an extremely low density estate wkith no major environmental or technical barriers to service, only one to three connected devices are ever in use and even then only for very basic usage

@TalkTalk you know guys, it's shameful the amount of information that your allowed to tell me about my outage. 3 working days. That's all you can say. "Engineer investigating, can be 3 working days" that's it. I'm already moving contracts and been with you less than 5 months.

@TalkTalk 2. Despite having paid for and added TT network connectors TV quality is poor with both HD channels and other regular stations often unwatchable and / or displaying your TV signal is weak messages - despite subsequent service quality checks on TT website repeatedly showing all

we never really had to tune the TV or anything so we didn't move our antenna socket upstairs. Now that we've got a new talktalk box and TV, we can't tune them as we no longer have access to the old socket as it's in my disabled bros area. It's gonna cost a lot to install one now.

@Jessica67669786 @TalkTalk I’m so glad. I can’t believe the bullying tactics they use. I won’t put up with it, but how many people don’t realise and get stuck in their over priced service, that doesn’t work properly? Especially older people!

@TalkTalk such as video calls / rudimentary online school work etc this is a fundamental failure by TalkTalk to deliver on its core service purpose. Damningly we have had no such issues using Sky low speed broadband for the past ten years.
