I have my trades set to FIFO, I bought and sold the same instrument during the course of the day where I had more than enough contracts to cover my sells without dipping into what I'd bought that day... you guessed it. I got dinged under PDT. How?

Im not selling anyways so its a mute point imo. Only daytraders selling gme should be crying about this in my op. It does not effect long term hodling
