And a second chat with @tescomobile customer service and he was unable to fix this too. So I guess I'm literally unable to upgrade my phone with you now. Nevermind, @virginmedia has a great deal on the phone in looking for.

@tescomobile getting an awful lot of scam calls lately. The numbers ringing are very similar to my own. Do you think your database could have been compromised as I’m not the only Tesco customer dealing with this atm

@tescomobile Thanks jade. We have been in touch with the help chat and they said the same. We have 5 contacts on the same account in the same household and 3 of them are working but not mine and 1 other.
