  @MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK A shame to see they haven't upped their game. When our dad died, nearly 20 years ago, my sister ended up explaining to a number of call handlers that the account owner would not be able to cancel his own account unless they had a seance...

  @AJRAllModCons @VodafoneUK I had a very similar problem. It took threats of legal action to get Vodafone to fix it. Which they eventually did. But almost the same situation too. I had a service that never worked cancelled and returned the router and then they claimed it was never cancelled.

  @MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK If Virgin Media are such money grabbing filth that they don’t want to believe a grieving person that contacts them and just terminate the contract they should at least backdate it based on the death certificate. Anything other than that is disgraceful.

  @MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK They insisted I sent all the equipment back immediately, just what you need to be doing when you have a matter of weeks left with your dad who lives a 200 mile round trip away. I will never darken their doors again!

  @MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK When my father in law died, I phoned VMedia to ask if the account could be transferred in his wife’s name. They said we couldn’t. Said we had to cancel the contract, pay a hefty cancellation charge (something like 10 months of the contract owing) and open a new acc in her name

  @MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK I went through exactly the same issue, it was only when I threatened them with legal action and exposure they eventually cancelled the contract. Don't give up, don't pay a penny.

  @VodafoneUK 4 failed contract orders in 4 days, endless broken callback promises, & zero help. As a vulnerable customer, being left with offline home security cameras for a week is a massive safety issue. I need an urgent response to raise an official complaint. DM me.
