    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They were predatory and aggressive when my brother accidentally ran up a large roaming bill working abroad. It was before the EU effectively stopped all that. I determined back then that I'd never use them. I hope they change or someone answers for it because this is disgusting.

    @VodafoneUK @speckyninja What a scummy f*cking company. I have never used you and never will and hope others turn their backs on you. Aol did the same years ago. Still took money from our account every month when we left, then chased us for debt, there wasn't any and they owed us, never got a penny back.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK George, what abominable behaviour by Vodafone. We had a poor experience: my wife cancelled her contract years ago with £6.50 of credit, which we were promised would be refunded. Despite many calls, it never has been. Not as bad by far as your experience, but leaves a bad taste.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone are the worst! Over 10 yrs with them & they couldn’t explain mysterious charges for data usage, cut my calls if >20 mins, unable to reconnect. I warned them I won’t renew & they didn’t care; until I gave my 30 days notice; then called me incessantly to retain my custom!

    @VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot I think your company needs to take this issue far more seriously than talking to a bot! This is a systematic failure by Vodaphone to act with any decency.

    @GeorgeMonbiot I had a similar experience with them. They eventually tried to register a default debt on my credit record. I showed the correspondence to the debt agents and default was removed. Only then did @VodafoneUK respond with an offer to fix it. By then I told them to get lost.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Also had a terrible experience with Vodafone, didn’t put a cap on my dongle & charged me hundreds for going over my data limit by a tiny amount. No text or warning whatsoever & their app showing my data usage was broken. Felt like a deliberate strategy to trip people up

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK …several hours before I made payment. The issue it seems was I waited until 10pm on the day the payment was due. They then said because I failed to make payment we were now in breach of our contract. And were seeking £300 or so. I called and detailed everything…
