  @AJRAllModCons @VodafoneUK Did the same to me, lodge an official complaint with Vodafone. Specialist Care Manager, Vodafone Limited, The Connection, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 2FN. Ask for a complaint reference number and keep records of all contact. Then write to all three credit agencies outlining the details and reference the complaint number. They really are shady bastards.

  @AJRAllModCons @VodafoneUK Take them to ombudsman, they tried it on with me and lost .That's why I wouldn't recommend them to anybody,since I moved provider ,not a single issue or bill query .

  @AJRAllModCons @VodafoneUK They did the same to me 10 years ago so I left them for EE. They told me to cancel my direct debit while in dispute then they go and add a bad mark on my credit rating. Took years to resolve, had to go to the ombudsman.

  @MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK When my father in law died, I phoned VMedia to ask if the account could be transferred in his wife’s name. They said we couldn’t. Said we had to cancel the contract, pay a hefty cancellation charge (something like 10 months of the contract owing) and open a new acc in her name

  @MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK I finally left virgin as trying to contact was literally like going around in circles (constantly), it was extremely poor and exceptionally bad service.

  @AJRAllModCons @VodafoneUK Write them a letter, I had the same issue, Indian call centres telling me I have no option but to pay. They soon wiped the debt when I wrote a strong complaint letter

  Everyday since Friday I’ve been contacting @VodafoneUK to swap an e sim from one device to another and each time get fed lies because they basically can’t be bothered to help I’ve never had problems with any company like I do Vodafone
