@GeorgeMonbiot Sorry you had to go through this, just awful. I had to cancel my DD to leave my contract too and they refused to help even though they owed me money. They put a black mark on my credit file. Would never use again @VodafoneUK

  • M1JSS John (@M1JSS) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot I think your company needs to take this issue far more seriously than talking to a bot! This is a systematic failure by Vodaphone to act with any decency.

  • HickmanRach Rachel Hickman (@HickmanRach) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Also had a terrible experience with Vodafone, didn’t put a cap on my dongle & charged me hundreds for going over my data limit by a tiny amount. No text or warning whatsoever & their app showing my data usage was broken. Felt like a deliberate strategy to trip people up

  • bigbonedtrev Trev (@bigbonedtrev) reported

@DirtyHippyDalek @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Yep we took out a family contract via work years ago because of the substantial discount and it being the only cell signal in our area. I found a £1k pad had been bought fraudulently and they randomly cancelled one of our phones. No apology just indifference. Total OCG behaviour.

@VodafoneUK @360Art_Design This is beyond stupid - the replacement of humans with supposed AI and machine learning before it’s anywhere near ready (it probably will never be)

  • melboydenwrites Melanie Boyden 🌿 (@melboydenwrites) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is awful! We had the same with @virginmedia after my dad passed away. They kept trying to take monthly DD when we had his accounts frozen, because he was not around to pay them. Started getting late payment charges. Reason for late payment on THEIR letter - deceased!!!

  • seanbamforth Sean Bamforth (@seanbamforth) reported

@VodafoneUK Large corporate's, when they have parts of the organisation that start to lose money often end up behaving this way. They cycle through CEO's until they find someone who is willing to behave in terrible ways in order to staunch the losses and get their bonus payment.

  • NickKay27581352 Nick Kay (@NickKay27581352) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Nice to know it was not just me. Will never use Vodafone again.

  • T0mGerman Tom German (@T0mGerman) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They were predatory and aggressive when my brother accidentally ran up a large roaming bill working abroad. It was before the EU effectively stopped all that. I determined back then that I'd never use them. I hope they change or someone answers for it because this is disgusting.

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja What a scummy f*cking company. I have never used you and never will and hope others turn their backs on you. Aol did the same years ago. Still took money from our account every month when we left, then chased us for debt, there wasn't any and they owed us, never got a penny back.
