@abrighterbeat @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Send them a death certificate and ask for the last six years back! I had to cancel all utilities for my M-in-Law, took ages, some companies better than others. But why continue paying??

@MatthewStadlen @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They are the worst. I got similar treatment until I wrote a short play about their terrible customer service, sent it to their CEO, then the Daily Express wrote an article about it. Drastic but the only thing that worked! Absolute horrors.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Happened to me when my partner suffered a traumatic brain injury that left him paralysed and only partially aware. Spent months trying to cancel the contract. Even had one pleasant person tell me we will cancel it if he dies (he was still on a ventilator at that point) DONT USE

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I’m sorry you’re having to go through this, we had similar after my brother died, with Santander. I swore I’d never use Vodafone ever again after being subjected to the worst customer ‘service’ whilst trying to rectify their mistake.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Heartless service is so common now. The way @BarclaysUK treated my mum (who was on chemo herself) when my dad died was evil. They even gave her a name to complain and send registered mail to - who they later admitted didn’t exist! They too refused my power of attorney doc.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had terrible problems with them in 2015. They ripped me off around £200 mobile contract. Like you, tried to deal with them but lost the will to live. EE have superb customer services. Have been with them ever since & won't move. Have had Sky and BT Bband/tv. They're pretty good.
