@GeorgeMonbiot @andy_williamson @VodafoneUK The CEO has a team of people who actually have authorisation to fix situations like this. The customer support doesn't have any authority. This is the only route to getting issues addressed at Vodafone

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I'm a vodafone customer had an issue with phone . Contacted them for help I could not remember password gentleman lost it with me and believe it or not said why do you want to access your account . Rude and unhelpful .

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Tried in vain for weeks to cancel Vodafone subscription to mobile broadband. Have to conclude they deliberately make it impossible. Frustrated, I unilaterally cancelled my direct debit. Now I’ve unpaid fees and it’s dinged my credit score. Is this deliberate policy? @VodafoneUK

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot This simply isn’t good enough. It shouldn’t be remotely difficult to cancel a phone contract from a deceased person, and you should be aware that not every person can communicate as effectively as George. You need to change your approach here.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I'm currently having a similar experience with @BritishGas who have not sorted out an over charging. They keep me on the phone for hours and then say they will call me back when it's sorted. Haven't heard from them in weeks. Corporate customer care is not fit for purpose.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I once overhead Vodaphone employees in a pub in Newbury swapping stories about how they wound up customers and laughing about it. I cancelled my contract every soon after and have never gone back. Saying that my mother who's 92 says they look after her well.
