@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Legally they cant do anything. Hes not responsible if its her debt. Dont answer the phone. Tell them you have no idea who that is and hang up.

  • AggieMoo1 Dame Quiet One For PM (@AggieMoo1) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Due to other reasons I finished with Vodafone. Customer service horrendous. Wouldn't ever use them again.

  • carolinep0 Caroline P. 🇪🇺🔶 💙 What is today's fresh hell? (@carolinep0) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Truly, Vodafone: probably the worst customer service in the world. I would never ever get a mobile account from Vodafone again. Reduced me to tears of despair almost daily for a while.

  • nolovefortheuk Jim (@nolovefortheuk) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @IainHiggins @VodafoneUK My step dad passed 5 weeks ago, Vodafone was the only thing mum had a serious problem with, even death it seems is not a good enough reason to cancel your payment

  • mrsmiggins_ lou 🏳️‍🌈🌱 (@mrsmiggins_) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @KathyBurke @VodafoneUK How awful, so stressful. After my mum died the gym she went to refused to cancel her membership, fortunately it was a physical building where I was able to go to & make a scene so they relented. It makes an already difficult situation worse. I hope you can get it resolved soon.

  • AdamBlank9 AdamBlank (@AdamBlank9) reported

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja What if - and bear with me here, I'm not an MBA - instead of navigating your intentionally arcane and frustrating customer 'service' procedures, you simply stopped stealing from the bereaved elderly?

  • 118huntervasser anti-influencer (@118huntervasser) reported

@ArdMsen @VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot exactly and stop assuming everyone knows what your stupid acronyms mean that you made up last week.

  • CaltonHill2 Tom (@CaltonHill2) reported

@VodafoneUK So, is it correct that you are refusing to cancel the account of a woman who has died? Please explain?

  • jamesasm Sir James at the cricket (@jamesasm) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Counterpoint. My mum, who had a Vodafone mobile phone contract, died 2 months ago. My dad was able to cancel her contract with phone call and one email (sending photocopies of documents). Vodafone wrote off the remainder of the contract and let us keep the phone.

  • lukiebriner Luke Briner (@lukiebriner) reported

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja Vodafone took over an hour on the phone with an unqualified "tech" person to agree with me that my router was broken. Lots of other times waiting on hold, "we value your custom..." #whatever
