@waze when using Apple Maps or @googlemaps on iOS one can leave the app and the time in top left turns blue so you can return to nav app with 1 click. This doesn’t work in Waze. Is this a known issue?

@karenevans2017 @shinybluedress Me too, hardly unsurprising given I’m a geographer and my husband a geologist, that said, checking out @waze before setting off on a long journey a couple of weeks ago meant we avoided problems on the M1 and saved an extra 80 mins in the car .

SGI - There are 2 issues simultaneously going, HM asked Officers for 100crs and second that request was given to one inspector Waze. The petitioner before the DB, made assertions to prevent the CBI to do something that CBI was allowed to do. #BombayHighCourt #CBI #Maharashtra

SG: Waze is an issue that has to be investigated. Extortion is a prt of transfer and posting as it is an independent part. Transfer and posting independently is mentioned in Singh’s letter, Shukla’s report and petition filed on oath before HC by Upadhyay. #BombayHighCourt #CBI

@DanGaffney They should raise some of these highway speed limits 🥲 outside of school zones I don’t really see the point. You can dodge them with Waze. Might cause more accidents with ppl trying to slow down to avoid being picked up

@AuerDirk @Sam_Dumitriu May be true, but doesn't seem to follow from the example. Waze presumably complied with regulation on data retention before and after merging; the founder describes the issue as being alignment with its new parent company. That's a merger, not a regulation problem?

SG: My alternate submission is even if there is no mention of posting of Waze, while conducting PE, the CBI was entitled to make allegations on the Upadhyay’s petition. Thirdly, these issues are so intrinsic that they have to considered. #BombayHighCourt #CBI

@RobMcNealy It's really easy to tell whether they are doing it for safety or for money - publish a list of all the camera locations (better still, a list that integrates with something like Waze). If they ban that, it is the money since the list would help people slow down.

@jbu3 Fortunately, I’m lucky enough that it hasn’t really been an issue for me IRL. The only time it was concerning was when I was driving home using Waze and the text scaling glitched and went super-large font in a dense area. My brain fizzled for a few seconds. Never happened since.
