@BenClementLX @waze So I found out a fix. It is automatically set to "power save mode in android auto" for some reason in the actual app. It seems to be working better since I turned it off.

@waze Why does your app always keep running in the background even when Im done using it?? Your ****** app drains my battery until I change the settings so that it “Never” has access to my location. I thought it was just my phone but my dad has the same problem

Some issues you may have: Waze/Google Maps on Apple Carplay will be unusable with the Beidou GPS blocker, so I suggest using it post-police chase; Once you think the hot car has simmered down you may remove the Beidou, but keep it in a safe, closed compartment.

I am not saying all the cops. But a large majority of them are like this. And I'm sure a lot of you would have a bad experience too. So the KL Police Chief, fix the attitude in the police force first, ask these cops to have better PR skills before you ask us to stop using Waze.

Another friend who has friends driving for Grab said they also experience the same. So it's both drivers and passengers being inconvenienced by Grab's navigation. If the navigation is not working out, please go back to Waze/Google Maps.

@MargoGontar It’s always hard to make problems be relative. My biggest trouble today was trying to find which road was not closed at midnight to drive home. It turns out waze more helpful than Google maps. Plus my cat was in car meowing a lot. Normally she likes car trips

@waze for the love of God, will you please fix the app so it does not freeze on Android Auto when using the Google Pixel 7 pro. Its the only phone that this freezes up on Android Auto out of the 5 phones that I have. I've reported this bug a thousand times to you and @Google

So, on Waze, is it Traffic England people marking themselves as ‘police’ when on motorway lay-bys to get drivers to slow down, or drivers that can’t tell the difference between highways and cops? Or, cops themselves?

NISSAN, just spent $150 on an “updated” SD map yet the address I’ve been going to since 2019 is still unavailable to you. Google, Apple, TomTom, and Waze get it for free. What’s the problem?

@NewsBFM Actually in europe they banned waze. I am in agreement if our government bans waze too. I see jackasses speed like crazy and break suddenly to slow down for the speed cam and continue speeding afterward. So what’s the point?

@waze Everything was up to date. I’m hearing from other people who have had issues as well. The app was changing directions at the last second, changing the trip time, and even the entire route. It was not the connection.

@engineers_feed Hmm, probably wind/road noise insulation. Or add a pass-thru in rear seats for skis. On the software side, integrate Waze or its maps. Or fix false positives for lane departure warnings.

@waze Please consider iPhone SE 2 users and make waze app in iOS not lagging so much and beingg so slow… it’s really annoying! Even going into multitask is freezing the phone for more than 3 seconds in iOS 16! 🥺🥺🥺

The workaround I've had to adopt with Waze to get around the toll/HOV lane issue is to just turn on "Avoid Toll Roads" (which you have to do in the app, can't do in Android Auto unfortunately) and then if I decide to use the Toll lane I just have to hope it's faster.
