@jeremyfreese @zoom_us it looks like I can indeed be a co-host, tx I still think this would be an important feature since it would help not replicate lots of effort eg in instances where I could share polling Qs I've already put together; it's like how you can export survey Qs in @Qualtrics

@lawrencehurley The real issue here is that the meeting organisers account setting for this only applies to users in that account. Guests can still have filters. Maybe @zoom_us can resolve this?

@zoom_us The program keeps crashing every time I attempt to join the lobby for my meeting. I'm having to go into my task manager to close it and attempt to reopen it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@kadidakenner @zoom_us I've been thinking about hate group monitoring. We need more of it. But also in ways that don't rely on militarized police. Can we have public safety agencies that somehow address these problems. So instead of police or "society" which is a big, amorphous thing, a 3rd choice

@esmewang @zoom_us Yes, for my classes, which are standard meetings, it doesn't happen--I was in a webinar recently and the panelists' messages to other panelists were apparently showing up for the whole audience (!) so it sounds like Zoom has some webinar issues to work out

Anyone forced to use @MicrosoftTeams I feel VERY sorry for you. I just tried and what a piece of crap especially on Linux. App requires a login and web app either gives you video and no audio (have to call in) or audio and no video. @jitsinews & @zoom_us work flawlessly on Linux.

@esmewang @zoom_us this was a problem during Zoom University at the start of the pandemic (I graduated in May, so I can't speak to the Fall). In my Irish class, we would DM each other to ask questions (mostly spelling), and our teacher eventually told us to make a groupchat because it was so much.

Been having issues with @zoom_us not playing audio to all people in the meeting when sharing a video. Some hear it some don’t. Anyone else experiencing this? New issue and Zoom doesn’t offer tech support to free educational users like me. 😢

@esmewang @zoom_us We also had issues in a class where a friend was clearly having a rough day, so a few of us privately messaged to ask what was going on. They explained it to us in confidence, and then she got an email from that teacher that night, which made her feel incredibly uncomfortable.

@zoom_us - A bug appeared at the start of the month - appears to only be in the linux/mint version. Attempting to control another screen causes the linux version to freeze and crash. When will there be a fix for that? Meanwhile, make the older versions available for DL please.
